Trout Unlimited’s Public Lands Backcountry program has helped to protect countless unspoiled landscapes. TU helped make the connection between intact roadless and wilderness areas, and better hunting and angling opportunities, and in the process engaged sportsmen as among the most passionate and effective conservation advocates. To date, TU’s work has been instrumental in protecting Montana’s Rocky Mountain Front and New Mexico’s Valle Vidal.
