Catch and Release fishing

For many anglers, fishing used to be about killing and eating as many trout and salmon as allowable. The legendary Lee Wulff said that salmon and trout are too valuable to only be caught once, and through education and conservation practices, Trout Unlimited has helped to make catch and release fishing more the norm than the exception. The work continues today with such programs as the Wisconsin Council’s CPR - Consider Proper Release - which has been replicated across the country.
